Unlike traditional crowns and inlays, which require multiple appointments and temporary crowns, same-day crowns are crafted and fitted in just one visit using the amazing new SprintRay, 3D printers.

Same-Day Crowns Process
Here’s what you can expect during your same-day crown appointment at Bank House:
1. Examination and Preparation
Your dentist will examine your tooth and prepare it for the crown by removing any decay or damaged tissue.
2. Digital Scanning
Instead of traditional messy impressions, we use a digital scanner to create a 3D image of your tooth. This image is sent to a dental technician and used to design your custom crown.
3. Crown Design and Printing
The technician will design your crown and send the design back via email. This process typically takes about 15–20 minutes. The design is fed into our SprintRay 3D printer and the crown is printed. This takes about an hour in total.
4. Fitting and Bonding
Once the crown is ready, your dentist will check the fit and colour before permanently bonding it to your tooth. The result is a strong, natural-looking restoration that blends seamlessly with your smile.
