Veneers FAQ
You probably have a lot of questions, so we’ve answered the most common ones.
How long do dental veneers last?
Veneers usually last around 10-15 years, but their lifespan can vary depending on factors such as oral hygiene, diet and habits such as teeth grinding.
How are veneers applied?
The process involves removing a small amount of enamel from the front of the tooth. An impression of the teeth is taken and customised veneers are made in a dental laboratory. The veneers are then bonded to the teeth with a special adhesive.
How do I care for my veneers?
Take care of your veneers just as you would your natural teeth. Brush twice a day, floss daily and visit your dentist regularly. To prevent damage, avoid biting hard objects and opening packages with your teeth.
What issues can dental veneers address?
Veneers can correct a range of cosmetic problems. These include stained or discoloured teeth, chipped or broken teeth, gaps between teeth, misaligned or uneven teeth and worn teeth.
